He works himself up too much over missed chances that he carries into another leg as opposed to just forgetting about it. He’s a pleasure to see, when he is on song though.
He has a quarter of the draw also. Of course no matches are simple but a player of Smith’s calibre should get and then Simon Whitlock Ian White or even Joe Cullen. I imagine he’s more determined than ever to win that major he deserves. He has all the ability in the world and I do not doubt he’ll go on to win many majors in his profession. This week offers a ideal opportunity to eliminate the mark.
