The Steelers head to Week 3 of the preseason. They have wins over the Buccaneers and Chiefs. Amid a quarterback battle, the unit was the most remarkable for the Steelers last week. For an undrafted rookie from Samford, Devlin Hodges has seemed impressive Underneath Dobbs and Rudolph. He is making him difficult on the Steelers to cut. Hodges can find his way on the practice squad.
The Steelers went with Rudolph against the Chiefs as their starting QB in Week 2. Ben Roethlisberger is expected to get the start in such a one. It’ll be his first game action after hanging out Week 1 and 2 of the preseason. Dobbs will be very likely to receive a look behind Roethlisberger last week, since Rudolph obtained repetitions. Dobbs is going to have to impress with this opportunity. The task and another stupid mistake can be Rudolph’s.

As far as Week 1 is concerned, Mariota is simply becoming the nod within Tannehill. How Mariota and how Tannehill perform is irrelevant. But it’s definitely worth mentioning that Tannehill will be breathing the neck of Mariota when he struggles. Not merely did the Titans but it’s a way to drive Mariota. He didn’t perform the Titans wanted season.
Mariota was not dreadful, where he must lift everyone up around 24, but he is at a stage in his career. Make them much better players than they truly are. Mariota passed with 357 yards for 8 interceptions and 11 touchdowns. He must be from today, so there aren’t likely to be any explanations in 2019.
With respects to this preseason match, the Titans are essentially going to have two quarterbacks playing for nearly three quarters of play. Tannehill is but he’s got lots of experience as a QB at Miami.
