Steelers vs. Titans NFL Pick – Preseason Week 3

In the lone game on Sunday, Tennessee Titans and the Pittsburgh Steelers Match at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.

The Steelers head to Week 3 of the preseason with a restart of 2-0. They have wins over the Buccaneers and Chiefs. Amid a quarterback conflict, the defensive unit has been the most impressive for the Steelers last week. They held a great Kansas City crime in check for just 7 points in a 17-7. Sure, Patrick Mahomes played, but it isn’t like Chad Henne is dreadful. He’s a veteran who knows his way.
Offensively, I will need to admit it was not a day for anyone. Josh Dobbs threw an interception in the red zone that seemed like a rookie error. That’s a mark against him in his battle against Mason Rudolph. Dobbs got third-team repetitions week behind Rudolph. Rudolph didn’t do anything but he’d shield the ball passed for 77 yards on 10-of-15 passing.
Rudolph has more upside. I believe that is Rudolph’s job, although this is a quarterback competition. Behind Rudolph and Dobbs, Devlin Hodges has seemed impressive to get an undrafted rookie from Samford. He’s making him difficult on the Steelers to cut. At the very least, Hodges may find his way.
The Steelers went against the Chiefs because their starting QB in Week 2 with Rudolph. Ben Roethlisberger is expected to get the start in this one. It’ll be his first game action of the preseason after hanging out Week 2 and 1. Dobbs is very likely to find a look last week since Rudolph obtained first-team repetitions. Dobbs is going to have to impress this opportunity. Another stupid mistake and the job might be Rudolph’s.
There are not any doubts about the quarterback turning in Tennessee. It’s one of those choices. Although the backup place is followed in by Ryan Tannheill, marcus Mariota is your starting QB. Former Toledo Rocket and AAF alumni is back and is just hoping to catch on a roster or practice squad. Mariota will start Week 1 barring an accident. Knock on wood. Head below for our complimentary Steelers vs. Titans pick.

So far as Week 1 is concerned, Mariota is becoming the nod over Tannehill. Now how Tannehill and how Mariota perform is immaterial. However, it’s certainly worth mentioning that Tannehill is going to be breathing the throat of Mariota when he struggles. Not merely did the Titans but it is a means to push Mariota. He didn’t perform past season was wished by the Titans.
Mariota wasn’t dreadful, where he really has to lift up everyone around 24, but he is at a point in his career. Than they really truly are, make them much better players. Mariota passed for 8 interceptions and 11 touchdowns with 357 yards. He must be over his knee injury by today, so that there are not likely to be some explanations in 2019.
With respect to this preseason game, the Titans are going to have two quarterbacks playing for nearly three quarters of play. Tannehill is not the very best signal caller you will discover in the group, but he has lots of expertise as a QB in Miami.
He’s acted as a starter for much more of his career. When he gets the call in this contest, tannehill should be able to move the ball against backups. Then this isn’t going to make his job being nervous regarded by Mariota, if he does not. Tannehill is likely planning to take within this one from the second-half or close to the first-half’s close. By then, the Steelers aren’t going to be getting their defenders on the market.
Then on the Steelers’ side, then they will have Roethlisberger out there for close to a half, and then a quarterback conflict between Rudolph and Dobbs. There is a good chance that two of these are likely to be able to put some drives together.
Together with Tannehill and Mariota, that’s four competent quarterbacks playing tonight. And when Hodges gets mop-up duty for the Steelers, he’s been playing in the preseason, too. There seems to be some solid worth over the OVER in this edition of Sunday Night Football in Nashville Having a posted total of 40.
