Suzann Pettersen and Bronte Law held their nerve in the last stages of their 16th Solheim Cup to snatch a notable 141/2- 131/2 victory for Europe.
Pettersen, whose selection for a wildcard was met with mild criticism, fully justified her inclusion as she uttered the winning putt from six feet to beat Marina Alex on the last hole, moments after Legislation had closed out of a 2&1 win on Ally McDonald on the 17th green.
