Louisville is coming from its first ACC win because 2017. The much-improved Cardinals have topped last year triumph complete and have an explosive offense. They begin the toughest stretch of the schedule Saturday, however, against a Wake Forest team that might be the best team at the ACC not named Clemson.
Within an interesting quirk in the ACC schedule, the two Louisville and Wake Forest input the ACC Atlantic Division game of Saturday coming from a win. And both of those wins are over Boston College.
Wake Forest took care of B.C. in Boston two weeks ago, 27-24. The Demon Deacons enjoyed a week off last Saturday.
While Wake rested, Louisville spent winning a shootout by Boston College.
This was the very first ACC win in nearly two decades to the Cardinals, who have topped last years win total under trainer Scott Satterfield.
Quarterback Micale Cunningham directed the Louisville offensive explosion, after replacing starter Jawon Pass dying to get a career-high 288 yards in his third consecutive start.
After injuring his knee, cunningham sat out much of the second half, however. Freshman Evan Conley arrived to throw 140 yards in relief.
Cunningham seems to be all set for the Wake match and has practiced this week. He was announced,doing fine from Satterfield early this week. Satterfield also seems willing to put Conley in to spark the team.

Wake Forest has sprinted out to a 5-0 record, its best start since winning the ACC in 2006.
