Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was offered Borussia Dortmund return, says Hans-Joachim Watzke

Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has shown he attempted to lure Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp back into the club.
Klopp transformed the club back into contenders and won two Bundesliga titles throughout his seven years in Dortmund.
The German has directed the Reds to Champions League success and departed Dortmund in 2015 prior to taking up his current role at Liverpool a few months after.
He also admits that he was not surprised that his contract did not violate with Liverpool although Watzke wanted to bring back Klopp into the Bundesliga club.
I understood that Jurgen could [decrease ], he will fulfil his contract in Liverpool, Watzke wrote in his new book REAL LOVE. A life with BVB.
Jurgen has ever fulfilled his contractsbut if you would like to go new methods and we had to break new ground at BVB, then I needed to ask Jurgen when he could maybe imagine that.
I didnt expect that at all, but that I would not have forgiven myself for never requesting him at that moment.
As well as directing Liverpool into his sixth European Cup, Klopp has his side positioned to end their wait for a first league title in 30 years.
Liverpool are already eight points clear from second-placed Manchester City in the Premier League, also Watzke considers Klopps capacity to be so effective is because of the fact he isalways honest.
The most important thing in our relationship is is that we can rely on each other blindly, he further added.
Jurgen never lied to me. Hes always honest, even. And I never lied to him.
Even in the toughest phase, in the summer of separation, when we crashed to the last place sometime shortly before the separation in the Bundesliga, which has been the situation.
That sounds so obvious when you say that, but Ive experienced it in another way in this business and with other coaches.
