Lionel Messi and Zlatan Ibrahimovic among Puskas award nominees

(CNN) — Long-range screamers, mazy solo runs and magnificent acrobatic strikes, this seasons Puskas Award has everything.
FIFA gives the prize to the goal of this season and this years candidates include previous winner Zlatan Ibrahimovic, well-known Lionel Messi and a few titles such as Billie Simpson of both Northern Ireland Premiership side Cliftonville Ladies.
Simpson is hoping to become the first female winner of the award — named after legendary celebrity Ferenc Pusk??s — the Utah Royals of along with Cameroons Ajara Nchout along with Amy Rodriguez.

The prize was awarded in 2009 into Cristiano Ronaldo and ever since then, stars such as James Rodriguez Neymar and a years victor Mohamed Salah have gone on to win.
The top 10, before a FIFA panel selects a winner is voted to by the public.
Winners, almost completely unheard of prior to their nominations and wins, comprise Faiz Subri along with Wendell Lira.
Without a club and trying hard to feed his loved ones, Lira reported his lifestyle changed. He moved on to sign up for Vila Nova but knee injuries forced him retire at age 27 and he went on to be a gamer and YouTuber.
Voting for the 2019 award closes on September 1.
