Harry Kane considers new manager Jose Mourinho will end Tottenhams 11-year wait to get a trophy.
Mourinho won 3-2 in his very first match at West Ham on Saturday and succeeded the sacked Mauricio Pochettino on Wednesday.
Even the Portuguese has 20 trophies for his title, but Tottenham are without one because winning the League Cup in 2008.
The gaffers won at every club he has gone – theres no hiding from that, said Kane, who went to watch Pochettino at house after his sacking.
He [Mourinho] wants to win. Hes an established winner. Ive made it clear that Im in the stage of my career where I need to win trophies.
Ive made it clear I want to acquire them and its a big year for us.
Realistically we consider the Champions League and the FA Cup this season to attempt to do that, so well see how that goes and then from my standpoint I will keep doing what Im doing, continue fighting this club on the pitch.
We all want to acquire. We wanted to triumph when Mauricio was ; we would like to win the exact same that the gaffers here.
But of course when somebodys got a reputation like hes, it provides you confidence, it provides you that view in the team.
