Harry Kane considers boss Jose Mourinho can finish the 11-year wait for a trophy of Tottenham.
Mourinho succeeded the sacked Mauricio Pochettino on Wednesday and won 3-2 on his first match in West Ham on Saturday.
Tottenham are without one, although the Portuguese has 20 trophies to his name.
The gaffers won at every club he has gone – theres no hiding from that, said Kane, who went to see Pochettino at home following his sacking.
He [Mourinho] wants to win. He is a proven winner. Ive made it crystal very clear that I am at the stage of my career where I wish to win prizes.
Ive made it clear that I need to acquire them here and it is a huge season for us.
Realistically we consider the Champions League and the FA Cup this year to try to do that, so well see how that goes and then from my standpoint I will continue doing what Im doing, keep fighting for this golf club on the pitch.
We all want to acquire. When Mauricio was here we wanted to win; we would like to win the exact same that the gaffers here.
But obviously when somebodys got a standing like hes, it provides you confidence, it provides you that view in the team.
Its almost a new slate for everybody now to reveal the director what they can do and hopefully the players may thrive on that.
