Manchester City defender John Stones has been ruled out for up to five weeks using a muscular injury, states Pep Guardiola.
The problem was endured by the England centre-back in training before City’s Champions League opener against Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday.
Because the opening day win at West Ham stones returned on Saturday after recovering in an muscular difficulty.
Guardiola said on Tuesday:”He [Stones] is outside five, four or six weeks. This morning he was injured in training. It’s a muscle problem.”
Stones’ absence will add together with French centre-back Aymeric Laporte inclined to be ruled out before January.
Guardiola added:”For me personally as a supervisor it is an amazing challenge. But I think in something people do not understand about – spirit and dedication. We’ll make steps ahead to address this dilemma.”
