John Stones: Manchester City defender out for up to five weeks with muscular injury

Manchester City defender John Stones has been ruled out with a muscular injury for up to five weeks, states Pep Guardiola.
The England centre-back endured the problem in training ahead of City’s Champions League opener .
Stones returned for Manchester City on Saturday after recovering in a muscular difficulty, with the shock 3-2 defeat at Norwich being his first appearance in the Premier League since the opening day win at West Ham.
Guardiola said on Tuesday:”He [Stones] is out four, five or six weeks. He had been injured in training this afternoon. It is a muscular issue.”
Stones’ lack will add together with Aymeric Laporte very likely to be ruled out until January.
Guardiola included:”For me as a supervisor it is an amazing challenge. However, I think in something people do not understand about – dedication and soul. We will make steps forward to figure out this dilemma.”
