Jason Gillespie agrees contract extension as Sussex head coach

Sussex Cricket head coach Jason Gillespie has agreed a contract extension which will keep him at the club until this 2022 seasons conclusion.
The former Australian fast bowler took over at the start of this 2018 season as Sussex head trainer and has led the Sharks in both of the seasons responsible, such as the closing in 2018.
Reacting to the bargain, Gillespie said:I am absolutely delighted to extend my time at Sussex. I love the place and everyone in the club has been fantastic because I joined.
I feel were moving in the perfect way, which is really pleasing. I can not fault the efforts of all our players and coaches. We are all on precisely exactly the exact identical page; everybody wants what is best for your club, and I believe we are progressing in reaching those goals.
I need to thank the club for the opportunity to carry on being a part of that and also for showing faith in me. I am decided to repay that faith by keeping things moving in the ideal direction and hopefully having a success down the track.
Rob Andrew, Sussex Crickets chief executive commented:Were thrilled to announce Dizzy (Gillespie) has extended his contract to 2022.
There will be a lot of modification in cricket over the next few years and we wanted some continuity by means of this period.
