Jamal Lewis withdraws from Northern Ireland squad with knee injury

Norwich left-back Jamal Lewis has withdrawn from the Northern Ireland squad for their forthcoming matches with a knee injury.
The 21-year old picked up the issue through Saturdays 5-1 defeat to Aston Villa in Carrow Road.
Norwich say their medical team will evaluate him over the course of this international break, meaning he will miss his country Qualifier from the Netherlands and also the friendly against the Czech Republic.
Despite suffering an elbow injury at the 2-0 defeat of Norwich at Crystal Palace, lewis had been included.
Together with having played five games northern Ireland have been in place in European Union Group C, level on 12 points with leaders Germany.
