Henrikh Mkhitaryan leaves Arsenal for Roma on season-long loan

Arsenal midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has united Roma on a loan.
Mkhitaryan underwent a medical and also arrived in Rome on Monday afternoon to finalise the deal.
Roma will pay Arsenal a loan charge of $3m (#2.7m) together with the bargain not expected to include an option to purchase, based on Sky at Italy.
The Armenian joined Arsenal in January 2018 as a part of this deal that saw Alexis Sanchez render the Gunners for Manchester United.
Sanchez left United after having a year-and-a-half that were disappointing last week, going to join Inter Milan online loan.
Throughout his time in the Emirates, Mkhitaryan has scored nine goals in 56 games, which makes his latest appearance on Sunday as a second-half substitute against north London rivals Tottenham.
Roma have added nine players into their group during a busy summer window, for example, loan signings of Chris Smalling from Manchester United and Davide Zappacosta out of Chelsea.
Even though the Premier League transfer window closed on August 8, most European leagues – including Serie A – were able to get players till Monday September 2.
