Euro Qualifiers round-up: Spain and Italy survive scares to uphold perfect records

Spain made it five wins out of five within their Euro 2020 qualifying effort by earning a scrappy 2-1 victory in Romania despite enjoying the final phases together with 10 men after defender Diego Llorente was delivered off.
Captain Sergio Ramos gave Spain a lead in the 27th minute by converting a penalty to score a fourth goal in five Qualifiers, his third from the place.
Paco Alcacer put Spain farther at ease in the second half after missing three chances in the first, however replacement Florin Andone brought Romania back to contention with a strike in the 59th minute.

While Christian Eriksen scored two penalties as Denmark thrashed Gibraltar 6-0 away from house in Group D Republic of Ireland drew 1-1 at Dublin with Switzerland. Ireland lead the group.
Israel and North Macedonia played a 1-1 draw out, with most of the matches of this group being played on Friday.
