England 4-0 Bulgaria player ratings: Harry Kane is the hat-trick hero

Harry Kane watched a hat-trick since England thrashed Bulgaria 4-0 within their Qualifier, but who caught the eye?
Jordan Pickford – 7
A quiet afternoon for the Everton man, but he did create one critical save soon after the breakup, repelling a Marcelinho shot to protect against a Bulgaria equaliser. He landed Harry Maguire in trouble with one loose pass afterwards in the half, however, responded by tipping the consequent free-kick on the pub.
Kieran Trippier – 7
Figuring out of position on a few events in the first half but his first overlapping runs were a source of risk to the men of Southgate – as shown by the simple fact that he needed more touches of the ball.
Michael Keane – 7
Preferred to Joe Gomez along with Tyrone Mings alongside Maguire at the heart of England’s defence. Booked from the first half to get a battle on Marcelinho, but fared well complete.
Harry Maguire – 7
Another good performance from a participant who has become a mainstay of Southgate’s defence. He controlled that the backline nicely and employed the ball smartly completing 88 including 65 at the Bulgaria half – of his own 91 moves.
Danny Rose – 7
His Tottenham team-mate, Much like Trippier that he got forward and induced Bulgaria problems. With most of Bulgaria’s greatest moments coming down the flank he did not shirk his duties, possibly. Booked for one slightly over-zealous struggle in the final stages.
Declan Rice – 8
Merely his fourth appearance for England side but seems at home in the midfield of Southgate. Showed awareness facing the back four, which makes tackles and interceptions than some of his team-mates. Finished 95 of his 98 passes.
Jordan Henderson – 6
Do not do much wrong despite enjoying England’s most innovative midfielder sometimes but did not offer much in the way of creativity, either. Connected sweetly with a single Rose cross at the first half but his effort flew wide. Replaced by Mason Mount .
Ross Barkley – 8
Born some eye-catching moments of skill, finishing five star over the course of the 90 minutes and creating four scoring opportunities. Not everything came off – there were groans from the audience when he over-hit one pass at the second half but he strove to make things happen.
Raheem Sterling – 9
England player with Bulgaria defenders, in the first half not able to keep up with him. Showed great anticipation to permeate Plamen Iliev pass and tee the opener of Harry Kane up, and was subsequently in the ideal place at the time after his team-mate returned the favour following the rest.
Marcus Rashford – 7
Quiet at the first half compared to Sterling, but appreciated more of the ball after the rest, generating some passes and demonstrating pace to win the penalty for England’s next goal. Moved after the withdrawal of Kane into the center however had few openings.
Harry Kane – 9
England’s hat-trick hero. Normally alert to open the scoring out of Sterling’s cut-back and completed his . Played a vital part in Sterling’s goal, intercepting a Bulgaria pass before providing the help and charging.
Mason Mount – 6
Showed plenty of effort buzzing round the Bulgaria half, but his meaningful shot on goal flew wide and high.
Jadon Sancho – 6
Showed flashes of his skill but didn’t have a enormous amount of time to generate an effect. Wasted one chance with a moment of control.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – 6
Little time to produce a impression on the match, although A satisfying moment for your Liverpool guy as he made his first England appearance since March 2018.
