“The players have adjusted very well. We’re very positive and there’s a good feeling from the camp. Everybody is about to begin work now.
“We’ve actually had to pull back players back because they needed to work harder. We’ve had various activities on and off the field.
“The players feel like they’ve adapted to the environment as well as they can and now they’re prepared to start the serious groundwork for the World Cup.”
Jones verified that Mako Vunipola (hamstring) and also Jack Nowell (ankle) will not be accessible before the key Pool C games from Argentina and France following month.
