You have to have when you want to be a coach. I do not think that you constantly have to penalize or instil fear.
Trust is needed by players, they are human beings and just in comfortable surroundings will you bring improved performances. We try to create scenarios in which the gamers feel comfortable.
They know I shield in public and can back them, but in the dressing room we could be honest or have scenarios and it is a monologue. That is what you need to perform as a coach.
