Dale Earnhardt Jr. still has sore back but plans on racing at Darlington

(CNN) — Dale Earnhardt Jr. is just mostly retired, therefore he does not intend to miss driving one of his favourite tracks when NASCAR belongs to Darlington Raceway in South Carolina next week.
Earnhardt, who was last week along with his wifehis wife and two pilots, also said he is still hurting from the mess but plans to take the wheel of a car in the Xfinity Series.
My lower back is bruised up bad. Plenty of swelling and that I just want that to return and the pain to chill outside, he also tweeted. Ive been handling the area every day only to get well to race.
Earnhardt retired from full-time racing in 2017 because of the ramifications of concussions, but he has raced after since then — last year at an Xfinity race in Richmond. Earnhardt is a television analyst for NBC and a team owner.
On Monday, after bypassing the races in Bristol, Tennessee, near where his plane crashed after a difficult landing, Earnhardt thanked hospital employees, emergency responders and his pilots.
Were really blessed that on board escaped with no serious injuries, such as our daughter, our two pilots as well as our furry friend Gus, Earnhardt added.
Racing fans are awaiting the one appearance this year of Earnhardt. He also holds the record for winning the circuits most popular driver award 15 years in a row.
