Brewers vs. Cardinals MLB Pick – August 19th

The Milwaukee Brewers will Visit St. Louis after a Few wild days in Washington against the Nationals.

Sunday was a bad day for its Brewer pitching yesterday day, although saturday night proved to be a wild. The Brewers outlasted the Nats in an enjoyable game for those fans in 14 innings for a 15-14 win. It wasnt a fun game whatsoever for the bullpens.
The Brewers bullpen required the affair that was lengthy . Their pitching staff that was weary got hammered yesterday afternoon allowing 16 runs in a 16-8 loss. Milwaukee added 4 inning works to soften the blow to generate the score respectable.
Chase Anderson got off to a start to set the wheels in motion to get a tough day on the bulge. Anderson allowed 10 earned runs in just 2.1 innings and Aaron Wilkerson was tagged for five earned runs in 4.1 innings. The crime wasnt likely to be making that up, therefore it was an early reduction for the Brewers in that one.
The Brewers wildcard race along with are right in the middle of a NL Central. They have a fantastic prospect of winning nothing in any way or one of the two. This is an Essential series for the Brewers and Cardinals.
Between Cubs the Brewers, and Cardinals there are separating everybody else in the NL Central. Everybody else is in play in the division, although the Reds and Pirates are outside. Having the Cubs this week, slipping upward and a series over the Cardinals, the Brewers may be by the end of the week beneath the NL Central. A little simpler said than done.
Zach Davies, that had been the best pitcher at the Brewers rotation, will seem to respond after struggling recently. The Cardinals are expected to counter Dakota Hudson. Head under for our complimentary Brewers vs. Cardinals select.

Zach Davies has been a leading choice for the Brewers in their turning this season. Davies was that the 1 outlier who delivered on the bulge while the majority of the spinning struggled. It was rather remarkable and Davies was on pace to break his previous career-high ERA of 3.90 set in 2017. I will dismiss the 3.71 ERA he published in six starts as a rookie because it was not a full year for him.
Davies is clearly on pace to conquer an ERA of 3.90, but hes making it hard on himself down the stretch. Davies moves with the ERA of 3.74 and 1.39 WHIP, but his recent excursions are putting a career-high in doubt today. He also posted a 11.77 ERA, 2.00 WHIP, along with .400 OBA in his previous three starts, enabling 18 runs in 13 innings of work.
Davies hasnt done well against the Cardinals in his career. The Cards are hitting on .300 with 21 runs scores on Davies in 130 at-bats. In his last trip to St. Louis, Davies was good however, the Cardinals were better using a 4-3 victory. Along with Davies struggling recently, their bullpen is likely going to be exhausted after the last two days in Washington.
Dakota Hudson is coming off a standout performance against the Royals in Kansas City. He gasped that the KC lineup across six innings of work for no runs. As the Cards enjoyed a 6-0 triumph the Warriors took care of the rest. Hudson has allowed over 3 runs. With 1 game with more than 3 runs, Hudson has been the model of consistency, since April 21st. Expect the Cardinals to start a large series against an inter-divisional competitor with a triumph in Busch Stadium on Monday.
