Brendan Rodgers new bookies’ favourite to replace Mauricio Pochettino at Spurs

Leicester City director Brendan Rodgers is the obvious favorite to take more than Mauricio Pochettino in Tottenham, after beating him this weekend.
A spate of stakes are placed on the Northern Irishman taking hands following Pochettino at White Hart Lane, delivering his cost.
Just three days before, Rodgers had been 8/1 to succeed the Argentine at the North London club, even though that’s been slashed into 7/2, which makes him the clear favorite.
Approximately 36% of stakes in the last 24 hours have endorsed to taking over from Pochettino, Rodgers, making him by far the very.
That means previous favorite is overtaken by him.
Elsewhere, Massimiliano Allegri chimes in as the next favourite for the task.
Former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique follows next at 9/1, followed by Rafa Benitez (10/1), Thomas Tuchel (16/1), Diego Simeone (33/1) along with Carlo Ancelotti (33/1).
Pochettino (10/1) is currently the third favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave his post, ahead of the likes of Steve Bruce (16/1).
The 2-1 defeat of tottenham has now led to a dip in their odds for Premier League markets, even drifting from 33/1 out to 75/1 to win the league.
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson:”Heading into Pochettino’s sixth season at Spurs, coming fresh from the Champions League final and really producing some worthwhile additions to a severely depleted squad — few could expect the Argentine to be under this much pressure only six games into the year.
“But it appears he is, and punters think the Brendan Rodgers could be the guy to take over from him if he does decide to leave.
“Rodgers’ Foxes facet have been cut out of 18/1 pre-season into only 5/1 to complete with a Champions League spot, exemplifying exactly how great a job he’s doing at the King Power Stadium. This is definitely one to keep your eye on.”
