Bolton Wanderers sign nine players on Deadline Day

Bolton brought as new director Keith Hill in nine players on Deadline Day.
Wanderers have lost their last 3 games 5-0 and also have yet to score in the league in their opening five games, sitting bottom of the table on -11 points for entering government, following a 12-point deduction.
The club have been distressed to find reinforcements having played with their first five games with just two senior squad members and were rescued out of expulsion from the English Football League in August.
Rochdale boss Keith Hill acted to gather reinforcements, beginning with Stoke winger Thibaud Verlinden who has joined on loan until January and has been appointed as manager on Saturday.
After joining on loan from Sheffield United defender Jake Wright has been brought in to add some expertise.
His defence was bolstered by hill on short term prices with the additions of Joe Bunney and full-backs Josh Emmanuel after they abandoned Ipswich and Northampton respectively.
Midfielder Will Buckley rejoined the Trotters following agreeing a short term deal at the club where he scored four goals in 43 appearances, in addition to having spells at Watford, Brighton and Sunderland.
Hill signed a further two midfielders, bringing in Nottingham Forest’s Liam Bridcutt before January, while Doncaster’s Ali Crawford has signed a thing.
The Wanderers completed their Deadline Day spree with two seasoned strikers, after he left republic of Ireland and Oldham international Daryl Murphy to a thing signing Chris O’Grady.
