Countless Ajax fans are set to attend Leyton Orients Leasing.com Trophy Match against Brighton U21s, Afterwards UEFA Prohibited them from going to the Champions League fixture against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
More than 2,000 Ajax fans are considering going to the Brisbane Road, house of Sky Bet League Two side Orient, promoted from the National League last year.
UEFA banned Ajax fans from the Champions League game against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on November 5 after crowd trouble in their fixture in Valencia.
The ban comes after a sentence imposed against Benfica final season.
Ajax have requested additional information and possess the right to lodge an appeal against the sanctions, although a lot of their fans have been left in limbo with booked flights and accommodation in London.
One Ajax enthusiast took to Twitter, writing:Dear @leytonorientfc, are you really prepared to sponsor 2,000 Ajax lovers?
Were and unlawfully screwed by @UEFA and @metpoliceuk. Lots of us booked resorts and transport already and will travel. You might risk memories and a great atmosphere . Kind regards.
Leyton Orient said in a club statement:We are Conscious of the interest from AFC Ajax fans in attending the Leasing.com match against Brighton and Hove Albion U21s around November 5 in the Breyer Group Stadium.
We will be entering communication with AFC Ajax in how best to alleviate this.
