On the eve of training camp, the Vikings and the tight end have agreed to terms on a four-year, $36 million expansion, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported, a source informed.
“I am honored beyond words to state my home, our home will always be in Minnesota,” that the 29-year-old submitted on Twitter.Rudolph supported weeks ago that the team gave him a five-year contract extension and that both sides were working to resolve the situation.
The contract extension keeps him in Minnesota to assist coach Irv Smith, who the group drafted in the second round of this draft.
