CA:”Once I was the unlucky time of playing against himI ended up getting the nickname’Mike Catt’. He conducted me over around four occasions like Jonah Lomu didn’t Catt at the 1995 Rugby World Cup.
“He can run round you, over you, hand you off, processor it although your legs, so you simply don’t know what’s coming.
“He has ripped up the Top 14 playing for Clermont and France have already been using him at all the proper places. It is truly going to be great to see him go in international rugby.
“I think he is going to place this World Cup alight.”

DC:”It’s mad to consider how he’s in these direction encounters when we both know how weird he is!

DC:”This 22-year-old has changed the way that France are now playing. He backs himselfhe is fast, he’s strong, he loves to score attempts. I presume if the French would be to surprise folks in this particular championship, then he’s a part to playwith.
“I believe he’s a potential player of the tournament. He is special.”
CA:”I came along with him a few times when I had been playing in France and he is ridiculously powerful for his elevation.
“If he is caught, he generally manages to get an offload away to keep his team going forward. I’m pleased to observe the French putting some trust in him.”
DC:”For me personally, Aaron Smith is probably the best scrum-half on earth right now.
“He gets New Zealand sign with his pace, energy and enthusiasm. He’s the heartbeat of that side. He’s got the best pass on the planet rugby too. Despite having quite hands, he fizzes it. It is the perfect spiral every time.
“From the loose, ” he conducts those service lines as well to create the additional man and help himself to a fair few tries.”
CA:”That pass is alluring. Why is yours not so tight Danny?”
DC:”He’s representing the tiny guys in world rugby, but he punches well above his weight.
“I really like playing him and seeing him play. He is feisty and enjoys getting stuck . If South Africa would be to go all of the way, he’ll be pivotal.”
CA:”He’s the biggest ball of energy I have come across in a while.
“At Sale, in gym sessions he will cartwheel in, throw a ball at someone’s head, fall and perform 10 press-ups.
“He’s just constantly up and down, all day, nonstop. And he and exactly the same play. He is just coming rushing up into the line, shutting down.
“He is an entirely unusual nine and we are extremely lucky to have him.”
