Avalanche land Donskoi with four-year deal

The Colorado Avalanche agreed to terms with free-agent right winger Joonas Donskoi and others players on Monday.
Donskoi obtained a four-year, $15.6 million deal. The 27-year-old spent his first four seasons with the San Jose Sharks.
Colorado also agreed to terms with forwards Pierre-Edouard Bellemare and Colin Wilson.
Donskoi scored a career-best 37 points and matched his career high of 14 goals for the Sharks last season. He’s 122 career points (45 goals, 77 assists) in 283 games.
“We believe Donskoi’s likely to help fill a roster,” Avalanche general manager Joe Sakic said on a conference call. “He’s a 200-foot participant you can put in various spots on your lineup. He competes and trainers will love the kind of game he is going to attract.”
Bellemare, who agreed to some two-year, $3.6 million deal, spent the previous two seasons with the Vegas Golden Knights.
Bellemare had 15 points (six goals, nine assists) in 76 games last season. The 34-year-old has 65 career points (29 goals, 36 assists) in 385 games over five seasons with the Philadelphia Flyers and Golden Knights.
Wilson received a one-year, $2.6 million deal to stay with the club. The 29-year-old had 27 points (12 goals, 15 assists) in 65 games last year in his second effort with the team.
Wilson has enrolled 282 points (113 goals, 169 aids ) in 623 matches over 10 NHL seasons with the Nashville Predators (2009-17) and Avalanche.
